IHA is committed to our patients’ medication safety and assisting with their medication needs by providing a list of current medications at all provider visits. Patients can also access their medication list or request medication refills through our interactive IHA NextMD Patient Portal. The Big Red Barrel: The Big Red Barrel allows for Medication Disposal (pills only) 24 hours / 7 days week.

How does the Big Red Barrel work?

You can now bring your unused prescription or over-the-counter medications to the Big Red Barrel, located next to the front desk inside the Chelsea Police Department, at 311 S. Main St., 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. Pills only; no liquids, no syringes. For more information, call (734) 475-9122, or visit www.chelsepd.org

Barrels will also be located in Dexter and Manchester at the Washtenaw County Sheriff sub-stations.
