About The Practice
This Trinity Health IHA Imaging lab is located inside the Domino's Farms Medical Center off Plymouth Road with quick access to the I-94, US-23, and M-14 freeways. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment necessary. Please enter the Urgent Care suite and check-in at the front desk.
This facility offers patients X-ray services for the abdomen, chest, skull, extremities and more, and general ultrasound examination. This location does not offer obstetric ultrasound. This location offers both X-ray and ultrasound services seven days a week. Please note general ultrasound is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To prepare for an abdominal ultrasound, do not eat or drink anything for eight hours before your ultrasound. To prepare for a pelvic ultrasound drink 32 oz. of liquid one hour before your ultrasound and refrain from using the restroom.
Ultrasound preparation for children is different. For a pediatric abdominal ultrasound, children should not eat or drink anything for 4 to 6 hours before the ultrasound.
For pediatric pelvic ultrasound, children under age 12 should drink 16 oz. of liquid one hour before the ultrasound and should not use the restroom before the ultrasound exam.
