He has clinical interests in the care and treatment of carotid artery disease, mesenteric and renal artery stenosis, stroke prevention, vertebrobasilar diseases, varicose veins, and venous disease and disorders. Additionally, Dr. Kanitra has interests in complex endovascular reconstruction of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections, open abdominal aortic surgery, and advanced open and minimally invasive approaches to limb salvage.
