Family Medicine
Family medicine is comprehensive health care for your entire family - from newborns to your most senior members. All Trinity Health IHA Medical Group physicians are board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine. Our family medicine physicians deliver a wide range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care while providing you with a patient-centered medical home (PCMH). PCMH patients and their families (when appropriate) establish a partnership with their practitioners to ensure they have the support and education needed to make decisions and participate in their health care.
Nutrition Services
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group offers nutrition counseling services at many practice locations. Nutrition counseling is provided by dedicated registered dietitians. Their expertise can provide you with the necessary knowledge to achieve all of your individual and family dietary needs.
Primary Care
Primary care is general health care. It is a patient's first point of contact for their health and wellness needs. Patients develop lifelong partnerships with their primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP takes ongoing responsibility for providing and managing your comprehensive health care.
Embedded Pharmacist
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group ambulatory care clinical pharmacist services work with primary care providers as a part of the patient-centered medical home (PCMH). Through in-office and telephone appointments, they can help patients achieve optimal control of chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. Clinical pharmacists provide comprehensive medication review services including, adjusting current medications to ensure maximum safety and efficacy, ongoing monitoring and disease state education. They also work with patients to set dietary and lifestyle goals to improve the management of various conditions.
Pediatrics
Pediatrics is a specialty concerned with the physical, mental and social health of children from birth to young adulthood. Pediatric care encompasses a broad spectrum of health services ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute or chronic diseases. A pediatrician can accurately determine the child’s health status and serve as a consultant and make use of other specialists when needed. Because the child’s welfare is very dependent on the home and family, the pediatrician supports efforts to create a nurturing environment. Such support includes education about healthful living and anticipatory guidance for both patients and parents. Newborn? Toddler? Teenager? Your kids are well-covered. From your very first visit, you'll notice that our pediatric services are some of the most advanced and up-to-date in all of Michigan.
Internal Medicine
With a focus on preventive health and overall well-being, our internal medicine physicians and staff specialize in primary care for adults and patients with acute and chronic multi-system diseases.
Behavioral Health - Collaborative Care
The Trinity Health IHA Medical Group Collaborative Care Behavioral Health Program works with patients who may have anxiety, depression or both. This program is available at several of our locations. We are right here in your office! Our team consists of a behavioral health specialist, your primary care physician (PCP) and a psychiatrist who talks with your behavioral health specialist and PCP. We work together to help improve your overall well-being. About once a month, the behavioral health specialist will call you or meet you in the doctor’s office to check in, ask about your mood symptoms and they may discuss how your medication(s) are working. We use questionnaires to help track changes in your symptoms. If you are part of this program, the behavioral health specialist works with you to build skills and techniques to manage your depression or anxiety. If you want to use medication to help control your symptoms, our team psychiatrist will talk to your behavioral health specialist and your PCP to determine the best treatment options.

Welcome to Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - West Arbor. We are a group of health care professionals committed to providing our patients with quality medical care for the entire family, from newborns to seniors. Our physicians have a special interest in promoting your family’s well-being through health education and disease prevention.

Along with our regular hours, we offer extended early and late hours several days a week.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - West Arbor is a designated Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). PCMH patients and their families (when appropriate) establish a partnership with their practitioners to ensure they have the support needed to make decisions and participate in their own health care.

As a practice, we know that preventive care, including vaccinations, is the most important part of our service to patients and their families. To best protect your children, our other patients, as well as our staff and providers from vaccine-preventable illness, we have made the decision to only accept families into our practice who plan to fully vaccinate their children according to the CDC, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Academy of Family Physicians guidelines.
