- Primary care is general health care. It is a patient's first point of contact for their health and wellness needs. Patients develop lifelong partnerships with their primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP takes ongoing responsibility for providing and managing your comprehensive health care.
- Family medicine is comprehensive health care for your entire family - from newborns to your most senior members. All Trinity Health IHA Medical Group physicians are board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine. Our family medicine physicians deliver a wide range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care while providing you with a patient-centered medical home (PCMH). PCMH patients and their families (when appropriate) establish a partnership with their practitioners to ensure they have the support and education needed to make decisions and participate in their health care.
- At Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, your every day movement matters. Our orthopedic experts want to help you to move with confidence and not hold back because of joint pain. Whether you’re walking up a flight of stairs, dancing, or playing pickleball, you deserve to trust your joints and be free from pain. Trinity Heath IHA Medical Group orthopedic experts are here to get you back to doing what you love. Orthopaedic surgery focuses on conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons use surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital disorders. In particular, both the evaluation and the treatment of hand problems have become increasingly complex functions. Evaluation frequently requires an expert second opinion, and treatment might include such highly sophisticated procedures as micro-surgery, joint replacement or arthroscopic surgery.
- Trinity Heath IHA Medical Group offers the communities of southeastern Michigan a complete array of medical diagnostic services. Our expertly trained and accredited staff will ensure an effortless and comfortable experience for you. Trinity Health IHA Medical Group Imaging locations offer patients X-ray services for the abdomen, chest, skull, extremities and more. General ultrasound is offered at Canton, Domino's Farms, East Brighton and West Arbor. Trinity Health IHA Medical Group has separate locations for OB (obstetric) ultrasound. OB ultrasound is located within Trinity Health IHA Medical Group Maternal-Fetal Medicine Arbor Park, Genoa (Brighton), Oakland Hospital and West Arbor. In most circumstances, your OB ultrasound is an amazing family event. Keep in mind this is also a medical test that must be as accurate as possible and requires concentration. A specially trained health care professional known as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) will perform the examination. It will be reviewed by a physician trained in fetal imaging. - Bones connect at joints, like elbows, shoulders and knees, to help people bend and move. Sometimes these joints become damaged from arthritis, injury or other causes. When the damage is severe or does not respond to non-surgical forms of treatment, a joint replacement is needed. Joint replacement is a surgical procedure that removes the damaged part of the joint and replaces it with a prosthetic device. Prosthetic devices may be constructed of metal, plastic or ceramic and they replicate the natural movement of the joint.
- The Trinity Health IHA Medical Group Collaborative Care Behavioral Health Program works with patients who may have anxiety, depression or both. This program is available at several of our locations. We are right here in your office! Our team consists of a behavioral health specialist, your primary care physician (PCP) and a psychiatrist who talks with your behavioral health specialist and PCP. We work together to help improve your overall well-being. About once a month, the behavioral health specialist will call you or meet you in the doctor’s office to check in, ask about your mood symptoms and they may discuss how your medication(s) are working. We use questionnaires to help track changes in your symptoms. If you are part of this program, the behavioral health specialist works with you to build skills and techniques to manage your depression or anxiety. If you want to use medication to help control your symptoms, our team psychiatrist will talk to your behavioral health specialist and your PCP to determine the best treatment options.
- At Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, care management works with patients who have moderate to complex illnesses. Located at your primary care practice, the care manager works in collaboration with your primary care physician and medical team to improve your overall health. The care manager works with you to assess and proactively manage your health, helping you to identify areas that you would like to improve or better manage. Together you will work to build skills and techniques to better manage your health care conditions. Your care manager will help you set realistic and obtainable goals, help you to identify solutions to overcome barriers and provide ongoing support and encouragement. This is a personalized service based on your needs. The care manager will call and meet with you regularly in your physician's office when it is convenient for you.
