- Our Specialty
- Orthopaedic surgery is a branch of surgery focusing on conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital disorders. In addition, both the evaluation and the treatment of hand problems have become increasingly complex functions. Evaluation frequently requires an expert second opinion, and treatment might include such highly sophisticated procedures as micro-surgery, joint replacement, and arthroscopic surgery.

About The Practice
The physicians at IHA Hand Surgery are specialists in the management of hand and upper extremity problems, and complex wound problems of both the upper and lower extremities. We are dedicated to offering you the most comprehensive service available. In addition to a one-year period of study in the subspecialty area of hand and microvascular surgery, we have the experience and expertise necessary to provide a complete service. Evaluation of hand or wound problems is frequently done at the request of your physician. This may be in the form of a second opinion or as a temporary transfer of care.
