The COVID-19 vaccine is not available at IHA Recovery Medicine. IHA and St. Joe's Medical Group COVID-19 vaccination centers have opened with a limited number of appointments available each week. Due to limited supply, we are unable to vaccinate all eligible patients immediately. We will contact patients individually to schedule their COVID-19 vaccine, beginning with primary care patients over age 65. Please do not call IHA with questions about the COVID-19 vaccine at this time. Thank you for your patience!

About The Practice
IHA Recovery Medicine (formerly IHA Recovery Specialists) focuses on assessment, treatment, counseling and/or referral for all addiction. We work closely with all primary care providers and specialists, and with other addiction therapists and pain psychology counselors. We can assess addiction to all substances including:
Alcohol
Cannabis
Cocaine
Designer drugs
Dextromethorphan
Heroin
Kratom
Nicotine
Opiates
Opioids
Prescription pain medication and sedatives
Stimulants
Treatment involves assessment with a board-certified addiction specialist and careful review of all FDA approved medication therapies with the patient, as well as an introduction to treatment programs and community-based resources. As an outpatient practice, our providers are certified to prescribe buprenorphine when clinically indicated to assist in opiate dependence from withdrawal. We provide inpatient consultation with addiction medicine services at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor to provide high-quality continuity of care. Process addictions, including food, gambling, sex and spending, will likely require referral to a specialist or specialty treatment center, which may be in another state.
